Obituary of Peter Douglas Harris
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Peter Harris announces his passing, which occurred on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 26, 1947 in Digby, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Medford and Rena (Harris) Hawboldt.
Peter leaves behind his loving wife pf 49 years, Theresa “Betty” Harris; his one and only son, Danny Bradley (Tanya); two daughters: Tammy Harris (Grant) and Kristy Harris (Dale); three granddaughters: Tasha, Alexis, and Heidi; two grandsons, Austin and Keegan; three step-grandchildren: Ary, Sadie, and Damien; two great-grandchildren, Caden and Mia; two sisters, Val and Marsha; five brothers: George (Penny), Danny, Dale, Raymond (Cindy), and Rodger (June) all from Saint John; as well as several nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his parents.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Due to COVID-19 health advisories, a service will take place when larger gatherings are permitted. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
