Peter Mersch Gub 2021

Peacefully on December 1, 2021 at the age of 80. Loving and devoted husband of Margaret “Gubby” for 60 years. Much loved father of Peter and wife Louise, Eva and husband Rodger, Kurt, and predeceased by Mark (2018). Cherished grandpa “G-Pa”of Kathy (Dereck), Lauren, Jacky, Brett, Adrian, Brendan, Alex, and Max. Great-G-Pa of Hailey, Adeline, and the late Kylie. Dear brother of Philip (Betty), and the late John (2020) and late wife Jean. Peter will be forever remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Peter worked for many years at the Windsor Board of Education, and recently as a crossing-guard. Peter also worked many years for The Windsor Star as a paper carrier, which provided his daily exercise. Additionally, Peter volunteered with his wife at Versa Care (now Birkshire). If you so desire, donations to Parkinson’s Foundation of Ontario or Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare-Palliative Unit would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Warwaruk, 5 North Nurses at WRH-Met Campus and the Palliative Care Unit at HDGH for their exceptional and loving care.
Cremation has taken place.
