Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we the family of Peter Carl Paulin, announce his passing while surrounded by family at the SJRH on July 8, 2021, after a brief period of failing health. Born April 9, 1948, in Saint John, NB.
He is survived by his loving wife Madeline; son Joe; daughter Patti McLaughlin; son-in-law Fabian; grandchildren Teanna, Fabian Jr. Kyler; brother-in-law Arthur Melanson; sister Mary Dugay (Michael), nephew Mark Robertson (Nicolle) and his precious Sheltie boys Erik (AKA Cutie Pie) & Sandy (AKA Sandy the Dandy) and feline Katie.
Predeceased by grandparents Fred and Susie Leavitt; chosen Mom Madeline Melanson; in-laws Arthur and Renee Melanson; close friends Tommy McCauley, Brian Evans, Wayne Stevens, Peter Harris, Ken McConnell (Miscou Island) and more; 1st Sheltie Flashy Lady and many fur babies.
Peter worked as a Certified Craftsman in earlier years and then at Labatt’s Brewery, until it closed in 1993.
He was kind-hearted and loved all God’s creations, especially the season of spring, when new life blossoms and songbirds sing.
He loved his guitar, cowboy hats, his Dodge truck, and the cars of the 60’s.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In memory of Peter, do a kind deed, pay it forward, show someone some love and kindness or if so desired, donate to CARMA.
