Perry Bannister
1962-2021
Perry Bannister, 59, of Colpitts
Settlement, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Russell and Ethel (Mason)
Bannister.
Perry worked most of his life at Waddy
and Colpitts Farm until his retirement. He spent several years on the
Salisbury Volunteer Fire Department, retiring as Captain in 2014.
Through the years he loved hunting, fishing, darts, anything in the
great outdoors. Nothing brought Perry more happiness than a good joke
or seeing his granddaughters. There was no one more loyal or quick to
lend a hand.
Perry will forever live on in the hearts
of his loving wife of 41 years, Maureen (Weir); their children, Heidi
Cunningham (Derek) and John-Ross Bannister all of Colpitts Settlement;
precious granddaughters, Victoria and Veronica Cunningham; siblings
Ruthie Leaman (Russell), David Bannister (Helen), Leonard Bannister,
Coreen Clark (Doug), and Kellie Hodgin (John); sisters-in-law, Ardis
Noiles (Andy), Julia MacCallum, Gwennie Joyce (Paul); along with
several nieces, nephews, and so many friends and extended family;
including his great-nephew Jordan who he had a special relationship
with and his buddies, Keith, Kevin, and Dave – you kept him
young.
In addition to his parents, Perry was
predeceased by his sisters, Deborah Garber, Helen Bishop (Orris);
brother, Russell “Sonny” Bannister; sister-in-law, Lynda
Bannister (Lenny); and brothers-in-law, Charles Murphy and Floyd
MacCallum (Julia).
Friends and family are invited to a
Celebration of Perry`s Life at 47 Bannister Rd, Colpitts
