O’Shaugnessy, Peggy Diane – Passed away peacefully January 9, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side.
Born in Truro, she was a daughter to the late Sylvan and Gladys (White) Fraser.
Peggy enjoyed to live, laugh, love, a phrase that will never be forgotten. She lived her life to the fullest, laughed like no tomorrow, and loved her family deeply. Peggy’s biggest accomplishment was her sons. She made sure that they lived each and every day knowing that she loved them unconditionally.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Terry (Sheryl) Decker, Middle Musquodoboit; Kevin Decker, Alberta; grandchildren, Kaleigh (Tim) Peach, Shubenacadie; Kenneth Hood (Katie), Kendra Hood (Justin), both of East Stewiacke; Phoenix Decker, Middle Musquodoboit; great-granddaughters, Gracie and Ella-Mae; sisters, Donna (Ken) Wambalt, Dartmouth; Laura Romkey (Cor), Middle Musquodoboit; Teresa “Terry” (Randy) Rossiter, Enfield; Cindy Beeler, Texas; brothers, Glenn (Kim) Fraser, Robert Taylor (Tamie), both of Middle Musquodoboit; mother-in-law, Rita (Graves) Kinney, Lucasville; sisters-in-law, Ethel Nauss (Reg), Bridgewater; Anne O’Shaughnessy, Chester; Beverley (Allan) Clay, Sackville; brother-in-law, Gord (Cathy) O’Shaughnessy, Bridgewater; as well as special nieces and nephews.
Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband, John; sister, Patricia Mae in infancy; brother-in-law, James Romkey.
The family would like to extend thanks to Dr Katelyn Barnes and staff at the Musquodoboit Valley Family Practice, the palliative care team who made daily visits, and all who have shown love and support during this difficult time.
A very special thank you goes out to Tanya Kennedy and Valerie Fraser for the countless hours and support you have shown.
At Peggy’s request there will be a family gathering at a later date.
