Brenda Mable Peart (nee Newman), of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham, with her family by her side on Friday, August 6, 2021 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Ross. Loving mother of Cynthia Pridham and her husband Phil of P.E.I, and Starr Wood and her husband Wade of Durham. Cherished grandmother of Catlyn Caron, Taylor Peart (Roy Williamson), Mario Teston (Courtney Paylor), and Lucretia Peart (Mathew Watson), and great grandmother of 7. Dear sister of Marlene Schopf, Allen Newman (Norma), and Tom Newman (Lynn), and sister in law of Wayne Peart, and Lorna and Harvey Ellis. Predeceased by her siblings Jack Newman, Roy Newman and June Smith.
Special thank you to the West Grey Police, Fire Department, and Paramedics, and to the doctors and nurses at the Durham Hospital.
Celebration of Life:
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Zion Glenelg Community Cemetery, 423707 Concession 6, Glenelg Township, RR#1 Markdale, on Thursday, August 12, 2021, Brenda and Ross’ 43rd wedding anniversary, at 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend and we encourage you to register by either calling the Funeral Home at 519-369-3837 or by visiting the death notice on the funeral home website (www.mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca) and click “make a reservation” to confirm your attendance.
