Pauline McPhail (nee Bourdon) passed away peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home in Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in her 89th year. Cherished mother of the late Daniel, Michael (Anita Siitse) of Sault Ste. Marie and Anne Louise McPhail – Smith (Mike) of Arlington, Texas. Loving Grand-maman to Alexandre (Lynn), Aaron, Andree-Anne, Kirsti, Adam and Caleb. Great Grand-maman to Nathan. Daughter of the late Oscar and Grace Bourdon. Dear sister of the late Jacques, late Marcel-Jude, late Paul (Helen), late Louis-Marcel (Dorothy) and Jean-Maurice (late Lillian). Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Pauline was a dedicated teacher for over 33 years starting in the primary grades and retiring from Ecole Secondaire Catholique Theriault in Timmins. She had a passion for swimming, cross country skiing, dancing, walking and playing bridge. Pauline was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music. A special thank you to all staff at the F. J. Davey Home, especially on Driftwood First Floor. Your kindness and compassion is deeply appreciated. Due to the current pandemic, there will be no visitation or service. Tante bien-aimée de plusieurs nièces et neveux. Pauline était éducatrice au-delà de 33 ans. Elle a commencé au niveau primaire et s’est retirée de l’École secondaire catholique Thériault. Ses passions étaient la natation, le ski de fond, la danse, prendre des marches et jouer au jeu de cartes « Bridge ». Pauline aimait aussi lire et écouter de la musique. La famille aimerait remercier tous les employés du F. J. Davey Home surtout ceux du premier plancher Driftwood. Votre gentillesse et votre compassion sont grandement appréciées.
