Laporte Pauline J.
Pauline J. Laporte has finished her earthly journey on March 15, 2021, at home, at the age of 71 with her beloved partner Bob Percy of 4 years, and family by her side. Loving mother of Rachel Johnston and husband Dan Johnston. Predeceased by her children Stacy (2013), Lou-Ann (1975) and Christopher (1966). Survived by her brother Leo Lessard wife Jackie, sister Georgette Chickee and husband Greg (2019). Reunited with her husband of 49 years Larry Laporte (2015) and her parents, George and Azilda (nee Lemire) Lessard. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Leslie, Nickole, Alexandra, Ben, Brittaney and Mathew. Great-grandchildren Cole, Kendal, Laila, Samantha and Abigale, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pauline retired after many years of self employment working with her husband at their auto body repair and paint business, Larry’s Paint and Body Shop dedicating 30 years of service in Belle River and 10 years of service in Comber. In the last 4 years of her life Pauline enjoyed her time as a member of the Belle River Lion’s Club. A very special thank you to Nurse Gwen and the Windsor Cancer Doctors, all the PSW’s and staff from the LHIN and Paramad. Cremation and a private celebration of life will take place at the Belle River Lions club at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Belle River Lions club in her name.
