On May 7, 2021, Mrs. Pauline Franchuk of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 79 years. Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Andy; 2 daughters, Penny (Trevor) Tychkowsky & Patty Franchuk; 2 grandchildren, Larissa (Kyle) & Jordan (Tatiana); brother, Victor (Ruby) Tkach; 2 sisters, Kay Grosul & Evelyn Bespoyasny; 3 sisters-in-law, Lana Tkach, Joyce Tkach & Anne Tkach; numerous nieces & nephews. Pauline was predeceased by her parents, Anastasia & Wasyl Tkach; 5 brothers & 1 sister. Scheduled viewing Thursday, May 13 from 4:45 to 6:30 p.m. Friends and family must contact Penny at 780-656-0519 to arrange a specific time. A Private Funeral Service will be held at St. Pokrova Orthodox Church, Edwand. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie will be officiating with interment in the church cemetery. A recording of the service will also be made available later Friday afternoon by clicking the Live Service tab on our website.
