Grandchildren: Karen (Peter), Kim (Rob), Ryan, Chanda (Michael), Chad (Carla), Aaron (Jill) and Alexandra (Tim).
Great-Grandchildren: Macy, Molly, Gemma, Lucas, Capri, Emma, Mikayla and Jacob.
Her sister Gladys, sister-in-law Marge and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Metro, parents Alec & Justina, Daughter-in-law Gladys, Granddaughter Chantel, her brothers John, Bill, Paul and sisters Rose, Mary, Katie, Anne and Sophie.
Born to Alec & Justina Rodych she was raised, along with nine siblings on a farm homestead in the Beckenham district.
She married Metro Dorosh and together raised their children on a farm in the Lunnville District.
With the passing of Metro in 1977, mom moved to Ituna where she lived in her own home until she was 97 years of age.
She loved gardening, canning, baking and cooking. Her fridge and freezer were always full, which she loved to share with her children, grandchildren and friends. She was known for her delicious cinnamon buns. Mom was a wonderful hostess and loved to entertain and host family gatherings. She was also a gifted seamstress who also loved knitting and crocheting.
Her Faith was strong, she attended Mass regularly and enjoyed singing in the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church Choir.
A wonderful mother, who was very generous and gave from her heart, never asking for anything in return. Mom made many sacrifices to help whenever she was needed. She touched many lives by her thoughtful deeds.
With a great sense of humour, a pure and kind heart and a true dedication to her family, we will forever have many great memories to cherish.
Thank you Mom, Baba and Great Baba Polly for all you have done for us. We are so truly blessed and lucky to have had you in our lives. We will miss you dearly and will forever hold you close in our hearts.
“A Mother’s Love” is whole no matter how many times divided. Remember she will never forget you and never stop loving you.
