Obituary of Paul French
Paul passed away peacefully at Summit Place in Owen Sound, on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Born on February 10, 1952, Paul Michael Douglas French of Shallow Lake, was in his 70th year.
Dearly loved husband of Karen French (nee Blythe) for 43 years. Loving father of Mark French (Erin) of Owen Sound and Melissa French (Joey Lockyer) of Shallow Lake. Proud grandfather of Devon, Oskar, Trezdin and Julia. Beloved son of Mae French of Owen Sound and the late Wilfred French and son-in-law of Edith Cameron (nee Blythe) of Owen Sound and the late John Blythe and the late Wallace Cameron. Dear brother of Roy, Clayton, Allan, Theresa, Mary, Calvin and their spouses and brother-in-law of Ken, Jackie, Jean, Tom, Keith and their spouses. Paul will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his two sisters, Catherine and Janet French.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Saturday, August 17, 2021. With COVID 19 restrictions guests must wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols. Friends and family that cannot attend are welcome to view the service at 1 p.m. via livestream on the funeral home website. Interment will follow at Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake.
