Obituary
Ouellette, Paul (1963 – 2021) – It is with heavy hearts that the Ouellette family announces the sudden passing of Paul, fondly known as Paulo, at his home on Thursday, August 5th 2021 at the age of 58.
He was the youngest and much beloved member of the family. Predeceased by his parents Homer and Jeannine Ouellette, he is survived by Diane Boudreau (René), Pauline, Gerald (Karen), Marie, Roger (Jackie), Viviane, Denise Larocque (Luc) and Daniel. He will be affectionately remembered by fifteen nieces & nephews and many friends. Guided by his Christian faith, Paul was a people-person, very compassionate, generous and caring. Fiercely independent, he was able to accomplish a lot in spite of many physical limitations due to a spinal cord injury at the age of 19. Paul worked for 19 years as a dispatcher for Para Bus, a job that brought him much joy and a great sense of purpose. He had an admirable positive attitude and an endearing smile. We were very blessed to have such a special person in our life. We sincerely thank all the compassionate caregivers at the PHARA Building, his home for the past 35 years.
Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd, on Saturday August 28th from 2 until 4 pm. A celebration of his life will be held at 3pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Paul’s memory to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
