1947-2021
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Paul Leger, 74 of Richibucto,
passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital on Monday,
July 19th, 2021. Born in Lakeburn, he was the
son of the late Jacques “Jim” and Anna (Gallant) Leger. Paul
held several jobs, but mainly worked on farms and loved the farm
animals and specially the horses. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved
going for walks in nature and fishing; he also loved to
travel.
Paul leaves to mourn his special friend, Flavie Poirier of
St. Louis; his two sons, Roland (Jody Swanson) of Gloucester,
Massachusetts and Christopher (Stacia Russell) of Watertown,
Massachusetts; as well as his three grandchildren, Michael, Jacqlyn
and Brandon.
Paul will also be sadly missed by his brother Emery of
Moncton as well as by his many nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Besides his parents, Paul is predeceased by the mother of his
children, Anna (Boudreau) and his two brothers, Leo and
Gerard.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto on Friday, September 17th, 2021 from 2:00 pm until
departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be celebrated on
Friday, September 17th, 2021 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis-de-Gonzague Roman
Catholic Church, Richibucto.
