Paul Kurek 2021

On Tuesday August 12, 2021 Paul Kurek passed away with his family by his side after a brief but brave battle with cancer.
Paul is survived by his best friend and soulmate Lorri Tessier and his two boys Jeffrey and Kristopher. Proud Papa of Madalynne and Penelope. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Rose Kurek. Dear brother of the late Richard, the late Edward, the late Bernie (Rita), James (Karen), Mary Theresa (Ken), the late Juliana, Stanley (Nancy) and Philip (Joyce). Brother-in-law of Gary (Marian), Kathie (the late Brian), Julie (Paul), Brian and Mark (Janice). He will be missed by his best friends Doug and Isabel Turgeon. Paul was loved dearly by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
PK started his business, Kurek Acoustics and Drywall 35 years ago. PK was a “jack of all trades”. Throughout his life, he purchased and renovated many homes with his “apprentices” Lori, Jeff and Kristopher. After Paul and Lorri retired, they live in Costa Rica 6 months of the year and made many life long friends. Paul has a passion for cars. His latest project, a ’34 Ford coupe had just been completed. His garage is filled with sports cars always serviced by his loyal mechanic George. He had a hardy laugh, told great family stories, loved food and making his speciality Kapusta. Paul was the life of the party. His family and beloved friends will miss him immensely.
If you so desire, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Blood Services or the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Paul’s life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to FAMILIES FIRST, East Windsor.
Paul, you would be proud of the boys. They are finishing all your projects you started. We miss you already. xo
