After a brief illness, on July 15, 2021 at Hospice Residential Homes-Windsor, with his loving wife Linda of 40 years (40th anniversary celebrated at the Hospice) and adored family by his side, at the age of 78. Much loved father of Robert (Nicole), and Carole. Cherished grandpa of Crystal, Craig, Curtis, Katielynn and Renee. Beloved brother of Raymond (Desneiges), Fernande (late Ray), Gilles (Madeleine), and predeceased by Rita, Genevieve (Mathais), Victor (survived by Marie-Paul), Fernand (Margaret). Also predeceased by his parents Herve and Maria. Forever lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and biker buddies. Paul leaves behind a special niece (and advisor) Helene.
Paul started his business in the service industry with the Folyet Tavern and later the Rendezvous. He went on to a successful career in the logging industry and he truly loved the business and the people he met. He will be sorely missed by his past business partner Guy Larose. After retirement, Paul found a passion for motorcycle riding and his Harley Davidsons.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus and Cancer Centre, including Dr. Freeman and Nurse Practitioner Christina. Thank you also to the home care nurses and a special thank you to everyone at Hospice Residential Homes-Windsor for all of their love and compassionate care. Paul deeply appreciated all that everyone did for him while in Hospice.
If you so desire, donations to Hospice Residential Homes-Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
