It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Paul on October 22, 2021 surrounded by his family, in his 88th year, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Paul was the loving partner of Frieda Snow and father to Jean (Dan) Doctor, David (Alison), Steven, and Kevin (Jenny) and predeceased by his sons Paul (Susan), John and grandson Tyler. Grandfather to James, Michael, Thomas, David, Justin, Lillian, Kathryn, Melissa and Aleisha and his great grandchildren Sophia, Breanne, Emily, Amelia, Carter, Abbie, Penelope, and Scarlet. Paul is survived by his brother Reid (Linda) Keays and sister Irene (Ted) Turner.
Special thanks to his nurse/practitioner Joanne Matte, Mariposa House Hospice, and Bayshore Nursing for their extraordinary care and compassion. Paul was a retired teacher from Park Street High in Orillia, CP Rail, and former Scout Master.
Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia on Saturday November 13th from 11 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated. Messages of condolence are welcomed www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
