Evans, Patrick James:
Passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital, on Christmas Day, December 25, 2021 at the age of 60.
Loving Dad of Jim and Michelle (Boris).
Dear brother of Barb Girard (Ron), George (Fern), Tim (Patti), Mark (Jacqueline) and Leslie (John).
He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and his many friends, especially his best friend, Mike Kieswetter.
Predeceased by his parents, George and Antoinette Evans, his brother Steve and sister Nancy.
Pat was a longtime and dedicated employee of Paton Brothers for over 30 years.
He coached Kitchener Minor Hockey teams over the years and enjoyed attending minor hockey games as a fan. More importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends at any social gathering.
Patrick’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Thursday, Dec 30, 2021 from 5-8pm.
The service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday January 1, 2022 at 1pm. Cremation will follow. Interment at a later date at Parkview Cemetery.
Relatives and friends must RSVP to attend his visitation or service through the funeral home website or by phoning the funeral home at 519-749-8467. Masks are required.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation- Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
