October 7,1946 – November 6, 2021
It is with heavy hearts, after a long battle with Alzheimers, and with her family by her side that we share the peaceful passing of our mom, Patricia on November 6, 2021 at Cassellholme, North Bay, Ontario.
Pat will be missed by her daughters, Joanna Johnstone (Fred) of Sundridge and Tina Thorkelson (Chris) of Callander. Her grandchildren, Tori (Collin) and Owen Johnstone, Tyler (Laura) Smith,
Jenna (Mitchell) and Savannah Thorkelson and Anneliese Ferri and great grandchildren, Zion and Shepherd Smith. Patricia is also survived by her step-sisters, Bonnie Thomas and June Smith (Dan).
Pat is predeceased by her parents, Bert and Simone Finch, her twin brother, Larry Finch and step-father, Henry Sinclair.
Pat was an RN for 39 years in North Bay until her retirement in 2006. Pat was an active member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Trinity United Church congregation.
A Memorial visitation for family and friends will take place at Gateway Pentecostal Church (147 Marshall Ave. E. North Bay) on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. A Memorial Service will follow on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00am at Gateway Pentecostal Church, guests are welcome to arrive as early as 10:00am.
COVID-19 restrictions will apply including vaccination proof, face mask wearing, etc.
Donations can be made on Pat’s behalf to the Alzheimer’s Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
