1945-2021
REXTON, NB – Patricia Ryan 76, of Rexton passed
away at her residence on Sunday, July 4, 2021. Born in
Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Keirstead and late
Martha Simons. Patricia is a past member of the Ladies
Aid. She enjoyed knitting, coloring, playing Bingo, an avid
card player, board games and had a strong love for Elvis.
She was a proud foster parent to many children over the years that she
loved very much.
Patricia will be sadly missed by her daughter, Tracy Sherwood
(Darren) of Cambridge Narrows; two sons, David MacDonald (Amber) of
Moncton, Travis Ryan (Caitlin) of Saint John; six grandchildren, Amy
(Mike), Bradley, Amanda (Zack), Jeremy, (Alicia), Chelsea (Patrick),
Kaleb; eight great grandchildren, Cole, Olivia, Oliver, Kayden, Khloe,
Jack, Hailey, Brycen; son-in-law, Terrance Kavanagh of Moncton and her
special long time friend, Dale Stewart of St.
Louis.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter,
Cathy; one sister, Judy and one brother,
Ormand.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday beginning at noon until time of the
service. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 8,
2021 at 1:00 pm at Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel in
Richibucto.
The family would like to thank Patricia’s personal
homecare worker, Vicky Kelly for all the kind and compassionate care,
Karen Beers for continuing to always check in on her and her extended
family at the Rexton Seniors Complex.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto (523-4252).
