Patricia Pat Posno 2021

Death Notice
POSNO, Patricia Jean – Patricia (Pat) died on April 19, 2021 surrounded and held by family at age 78. Her last weekend was jam-packed with loving goodbyes from family and her amazing friends. Daughter of the later Grace and Frank Warder. Pat is survived by her sister Joyce and brother-in-law Tom Orchard, Pat’s four children Anne, Scott, Heather and Matthew, a host of grandchildren: Oliver, Lucy, Claire, Georgia, Owen, Hazel, Tyko, Hadi, Elliot, Zahra, Simon, plus nephew Dave and niece Jen.
Pat was born on June 13, 1942 (meaningful numbers to her) on Grosvenor Street in front of a ginkgo tree. She was a valued member of the London community. For more than 25 years, Pat was a dedicated medical laboratory technologist with Victoria Hospital and then University Hospital. She took up running in her late 60s, and after retirement, she made her health her job. Pat was an avid walker in Springbank Park. She always noticed the little things like sunsets, blooming flowers and trees, birds chirping, and number combinations to make 13 and 42 in clocks, receipts, sudoku. Despite her quiet unassuming nature, most significant, Pat was an inspirational and close friend to so many, and the best giver of hugs. And, no one will look at a lighthouse without thinking of Pat.
Pat’s illness with ALS and death came on far too quickly. While her body gave up, her mind and her love never did. We welcome donations in the name of “Patricia J. Posno” to the ALS Society or any London charity that means something to you – just as Pat would want – never imposing.
We will celebrate Pat’s life in Springbank Park with a walk and music on the bridge – as soon as covid restrictions lift.
We love you mom.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Patricia Pat Posno 2021..
