Patricia McCloskey June 28 1933 September 8 2021

Pat was born and raised in New Westminster, daughter to Rachel and Richard O’Brien and sister to Jim and Veronica. She was a proud graduate of St. Ann’s Academy. Pat worked at Ioco Refinery where she met future husband Tom McCloskey whom she was married to for 67 years. They were married on Aug. 14, 1954 at St. Peter’s Church. Pat and Tom lived in Port Moody where they welcomed Michael, Timothy, and Maureen. They then moved to Coquitlam where Christopher and David were born.
She was very active in her parish communities serving as both sacristan and the coordinator of the altar boys. Pat cherished many friends over the years including her friends from St. Ann’s, her Fridays lady’s group, and her friends from St. Michael’s. She was also a treasured friend to Mary Scailes, Ink and Pat Fraser, and Dot Langdon and her family.
Pat’s proudest accomplishments were her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She adored each other them and relished her time spent in their company.
Pat served all and was faithful to the end.
