It is with deep sadness we announce that Trish Matheson peacefully passed away on April 30, 2021 at the age of 61 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Timothy Ross (Jessica) Matheson, Kevin John Matheson and Lisa Irene (Jayden) Matheson as “Mom” and by her grandchildren, Jackson Jeffery Matheson and Julianna Rose Matheson as “Nana Trish”.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Trish worked as a Psychiatric nurse at the Grey Nuns Hospital for over thirty years. Prior to being a nurse, Trish was an accomplished dog trainer and a proud Edmonton Eskimo cheerleader. She was a warm and loving woman who had a passion for helping anyone in need, including animals. Patricia was proud to have a busy home that was always filled with many pets, often ones that needed rescuing.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Edmonton Humane Society.
