DUQUETTE, Joseph O. “Pat”
Pat Duquette died peacefully, at Eastholme, Powassan, on Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was 99 years old. Pat was predeceased by his wife Vera (Quigley) (1928-2016). He was the beloved father of Jeff “Duke” Duquette of Smith’s Falls, Linda Langis (late Gilbert) of Timmins, Gregory Duquette (Jane) of Bracebridge, Tim “Duke” Duquette (Marie) of Astorville, Lorrie Rennie (Michael) of Waterloo and Jennifer Bowman (Mike Nelson) of Powassan. Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pat was predeceased by his siblings Eletha Nodwell (late Scottie), Mary Martin (late George), Dwyla Hanson (late Vern), Cleo Duquette, “Duke” John Irving Duquette (late Shirley) and Gary Duquette (late Angelina). Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm. COVID-19 protocols must be observed. Interment of ashes will take place in spring at Powassan Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society are suggested.
