Paolo Paul Caramelli Tuesday March 23rd 2021

It is with profound sadness that the family of Paul Caramelli
announce his passing on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 55 years of
age. Beloved son of Robert and the late Rossana Caramelli (April
2014). Loving father of Bobby Caramelli. Cherished brother of
Patricia Thomlison (Philip) and loving uncle of Lauren and
Michael Thomlison. He is also survived by cousins in Aylmer,
Brantford and Italy. Paul shared a special bond with brother-in-
law and best friend Phil, and took great joy in sharing over forty
years of friendship together. Paul enjoyed a prominent career in
Real Estate in his prime. He fought a long and courageous battle
with MS. His legacy will live on in his approach to adversity;
never complaining and always with a smile on his face. Paul’s
appreciation for the little things in his life was infectious. His love
for family, zest for life and sense of humour will be greatly missed.
Robert devoted his time ensuring his beloved son Paul was
receiving the best care possible. The family extends our sincere
gratefulness to all of the frontline essential workers. To the
Doctors and Nursing staff of the Brantford General Hospital for
their compassionate care; especially to Dr. Abayomi, Dr. Cicoria
and to Paul’s Paramed Home Health Care Team. A very special
thank you to long-time Nurse Tara Young and P.S.W. Aneta
Kubecka. Your kindhearted care and friendship was cherished by
Paul. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions a
Private Family Service will be held. If desired, donations to the
Multiple Sclerosis Society can be made in Paul’s memory.
