Orval “Rocky” George Larocque
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Orval after a motorcycle accident on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Predeceased by his wife Pauline (nee Lacoursiere). Dear father of Angela McRae (DJ) of Finch, ON, Jennifer Larocque, Kyle Larocque, Stephanie Larocque all of Timmins. Cherished grandfather Emily, Katia, Americus and great grandfather of Everleigh Rose. Dear brother of Shelley Lariviere, Carol Schafe (James), Susan Chartrand (Claude), Nancy Guindon (late Neal). Predeceased by his parents Orval Larocque and Rita Kehoe.
Also with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announce the passing of Pauline (nee Lacoursiere). Predeceased by her loving husband Orval. Survived by her daughter Jessica Whalen of Montreal. Dear sister of Ghislain Lacoursiere (Filomina) of Hornepayne and Donald Lacoursiere (Gilberta) of Timmins. Aunt to Melanie (James), Renee (Dan), Paul (Stacey) and Pauline (Chris). She is survived by aunts and uncles. She leaves to mourn her best friend Henriette Gagnon. Predeceased by her parents Paul Lacoursiere and Georgette Roy and her sister Brigette Boulay.
As per the family’s request, a private service will take place at a later date. In both their memories, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
