Oliver, Donald Allan
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing of Donald Allan Oliver on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Fergus, Ontario at the age of 85.
Donald was born on February 12, 1936 in Meaford, Ontario.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Florence (nee Lush) Oliver on May 9, 2021. Now at peace together again.
Donald is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his daughters Deborah Oliver-Latendre and her husband Raymond of Guelph and Diane Oliver and her husband Dennis Tiller and their son Tyler of Fergus, and will be missed as well by his sweet little dog Lucy.
He is predeceased by his brothers Doug (late Gwen), Fred (late Alma) and James (late Joanne).
Donald is fondly remembered by Grace Reid of London, Gerald Lush of Cambridge and Judith Oliver of Oakville, as well as many nieces, nephews, long-time friends and wonderful neighbours.
His detailed stories and ability to find humour in most conversations will be missed by all who knew him.
A private family service will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford at a later date.
Special thanks to Dr. Amanda Waglar and the staff of Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus for the compassion and excellent care he received.
