À la mémoire de
Olga Pimentel
23 décembre 1957 –
30 avril 2021
It is with unbearable sadness that we announce the passing of Olga Maria Pimentel, beloved first daughter of Manuel and Maria Gloria Pimentel and loving sisters, Grace, Lucy and Barbara, who were there by her side when she passed at Credit Valley Hospital on April 30, 2021. Olga will be sadly missed by her much loved brothers-in-law, Edwin Poirier, Mike Murray and Kevin Reynolds – and the children in her life that loved her dearly, Tyler, Joshua, Alex, Samantha, Matthew, Kristen, Amanda, Jason, Ethan and Pepper.
Due to current circumstances, a private service will be held at Bay Gardens on Thursday, May 6th at 2:00pm. This will be followed by a larger service and celebration of her life at a later date. We ask that you please include your contact information in our book of condolences if you wish to be notified of any upcoming services.
For all of you who knew and loved Olga, you know that she did not dwell in sadness, pity or despair. Olga inspired us all by her unimaginable courage, her wicked sense of humour, her love for thoughtful conversation and her infinite belief in the power of possibility. She would want us all to continue to celebrate life, dream large and to love each other kindly and deeply. Until we meet again…
“Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don’t remember me at all.”

Olga was a private supporter of many charities and would wish that you support the ones that mean the most to you. Among her most supported charities, were the ALS Society (als.ca), the CNIB (cnib.ca), the David Suzuki Foundation (davidsusuki.org), Plan Canada (plancanada.ca) and the Hospital for Sick Kids (sickkidsfoundation.com).
