OLGA PETRICK (NEE SHUMOVIETSKY)
(MARCH 20, 1920 – NOVEMBER 29, 2021)
The family is saddened to announce the passing of Olga on Nov 29, 2021, at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Olga was predeceased by her loving husband Peter, her parents, and many relatives and close friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by many, including her stepsister Rosie Smook, multi-generational extended family in Winnipeg and Senkiw area, Manitoba, cousins in New Jersey, her lifelong “god sister” Vera in Ontario, former neighbors Susie and Dino, and other dear friends.
Olga lived a long and eventful life. Many happy days were spent at the cottage with friends and family at Jessica Lake, gardening, travelling the world, and trying her luck at various casinos.
The family would like to thank Olga’s many caregivers at Amber Meadows, her long-time physician Dr. Patel and the medical professionals at Winnipeg hospitals for their wonderful care.
At Olga’s request there will be no public service
