In Loving Memory
Mrs. Norma Phillips of La Salette, passed away at the Brantford General Hospital , on Friday, December 24, 2021 in her 87th year. Norma was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was ecstatic every time a Grandchild or Great Grandchild was born. She was the maker of many baby blankets. Out of necessity she wore many different hats in her life time. She enjoyed playing yahtzee and doing the daily crossword and she loved going to Dad’s ice cream. She was also a life long member of Our Lady of La Salette C.W.L. She will be greatly missed. Former Norma Alice Schooley. Beloved wife of the Late John Blaine Phillips (1997). Loving mother of Michael Phillips (Marilyn), Patrick Phillips (Isabel), Robert Phillips (Julie), Blaine Phillips (Lynn), Paul Phillips (Gail), Edward Phillips (Dawn), Norma Jean Socholotiuk (Doug) & Angela Cowan. Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Paul Schooley (Cecilia), Tom Schooley (Marilyn), Carl Schooley (Carol), Angela Kicksee (Gord) and Sheila Edwards (Brian). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her two sisters Marion McMahon (Late Mike) and Joan Cowell (Archie) and by her daughter-in-law Carol Phillips (2014). In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Funeral Service will take place with Deacon Andy Alway officiating.
