Obituary of Normand Grandmont
Normand Grandmont of New Liskeard, died at the Temiskaming Hospital on May 19th, 2021, he was 74.
Born on May 19th, 1947 in New Liskeard, he was the son of Emile Grandmont and Marie-Ange Beaupre.
Normand was a licensed electrician and worked 42 years with Campsall’s Electric.
Mr. Grandmont was an active fisherman, hunter and loved to work in his garage.
He is survived by his wife Jeanne Caron, daughter Carole Gaboury and husband Darrel of Almonte, daughter Caroline Leveille and husband Yvan of Iroquois Falls, three grand-children, Shelby-Anne and common-law husband Jordan, Jaylana, Kyler, step grand-children Karine, Camille, Eric, one great grand-child Mason, sister-in-law Elaine Jubinville and husband Ivan, sister-in-law Evelyn and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Emile and Marie-Ange, daughter Sylvie, sister Huguette and brother-in-law Lionel, brother Jean-Guy, parents-in-law Don and Yvonne, brother-in-law Marcel and brother-in-law Roger.
A big thank you to Dr. Smith and staff of the Temiskaming Hospital, paramedics, and O.P.P. officers.
Also a big thank you to his special friends for being there for him.
A sincere thank you to Dr. Pat Logan and Bruce and staff of Findlay’s Drug Store for the many years of care.
