Obituary of Norma McCallum
McCallum, Norma of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, February 18, 2021 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Bert McCallum(2015). Dear sister of Freda McGregor of Chartwell, Aylmer. Norma was predeceased by brothers Neil, Bud, Ike and John Hepburn and sisters Geraldine Antcliffe, Nettie Campbell and Amy Cox and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Step-mother of Kenneth McCallum(Betty), Shirley Bradley(Emerson), David McCallum(Bonnie), Barbara McCallum, Joanne Orton(David) and Linda McCallum(Ken Summers). Loving Aunt Nornie to Marjorie, Gary, Grant, Wayne, Lawrence, Barbara, Betty, Marilyn, Peter, Rick, Brian, Brenda, Pat and Linda. Predeceased by her nieces Gloria, Beverley, Betty Jane, and nephew Michael. Sister-in-law of Claire. She will be missed by many longstanding friends. Born in Yarmouth Township on January 20, 1930, daughter of the late Jack and Alma (Smith) Hepburn. “Norma had the ability to capture our hearts with her big smile and warm personality.” She cherished her time with family and friends and loved going on adventures, especially to Long Point. Norma loved bingo and enjoyed her winters in Florida. The funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the funeral may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 (Masks are required).
