It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Norma Jean Jackson-Pitcher, of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announces her unexpected passing on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the age of 43 years.
Norma is lovingly remembered by her partner: Kelly McConnell; children: Kallion Jackson, Gabriel Jackson, Leshia-Kay Reimer; siblings: James Tory Jackson, Lenore (Levi) Jackson, Genette (Curtis) Reimer, Mckayla Teasa Marie Jackson; half siblings: Annette Singer, Dylan Singer; nephews and nieces: Desiree McKenzie, Joshua Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Ocean Jackson, Keira Jackson, Freedom Jackson, Graeci Jackson, Tayen Jackson; special nieces: Paetyn Shirt, Evoney Mckenzie, Paige Jackson; father: Charlie Jackson (Margaret); Auntys, Uncles & relatives of Jackson & Half families: Betsy Jane Jackson, Lavina Delver, Lillian (Prosper) Jackson, Marie Jackson, Theresa Half, Kay (Randy) Whitford, “Aunty B” Brenda (Reg) Houle, Sandra Jackson, numerous nieces and nephews; special friends: Shannon Berry (Stussy), Burton Tomahawk, Karen Bruno, Nadine Strongeagle, Cathy Manderscheild, Tony & friends, and all who knew and loved her.
Norma is predeceased by her mother: Ann Louise Jackson (2014); husband : Anthony Pitcher (2019).
Leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021 to Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta for a one night wake.
Funeral Service, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta. Traditional service officiated by Elder Eric Daniels. Final Resting Place, United Church Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, Alberta. Pallbearers: Kelly McConnell, Gabe Jackson, James T. Jackson, Ocean Jackson, Jason Jackson, Todd Half; Escorts: Curtis Reimer, Kona Jackson, Dion Half; Honorary Pallbearers: all of Norma’s beloved children, friends, family and those who knew and loved her.
