Norma Jean Crayford, age 69, passed away on November 22, 2021, at her home in Chatham. Norma Jean was born in Hamilton, the youngest daughter of the late Robert and Norma (Toohey) Crayford. She was the last of her immediate family having been predeceased by her brother Bob Crayford and sister Sheila Cockburn. She is survived by 5 nieces and nephews, 6 great-nieces and nephews, and 1 great-great nephew. Norma Jean worked for Sears in retail sales in Hamilton and Chatham. Many thanks to the doctors, workers, helpers and friends who provided unending love and support to her through times of trial.
Friends will be received for visitation at Kendrick Funeral Home – Chatham Celebration Centre, 4 Victoria Ave., Chatham, ON (519-352-2390) on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow.
If you wish, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (Mental Health ACT program) or the Chatham Outreach for Hunger.
