Obituary of Noah Isaac Gillam

MAY 5, 1926 – DECEMBER 29, 2013
Passed away peacefully at his residence in St. David’s, with his family at his side, Noah Isaac Gillam, in his 88th year. Leaving to mourn, his wife of 62 years, Florence (Nee Bobbett); and his children: Sharon (Roy) Piccott, Kenny (Marilyn) Gillam, Sandra (Mike) Hynes and Lisa (John) Gillam; grandchildren: Todd (Judy), Gregory (Lori), Denise (Mike), Michael, William, Natasha (Mike), Matthew, Alex: great-grandchildren: James, Jordan, Mackenzie, Charles, Ella, Ryan, Madison, Brooke, Camryn; step-grandchild Samatha; step-great-grandchildren: Brady, Brendan, Jesse; sister Hilda Palmer (Nee Gillam) of Musquodoboit Harbour, N.S.; sister-in law: Winnie (Ben) Guy of Corner Brook, NL as well as many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.He is predeceased by his parents Kenneth and May Gillam; infant son; sisters: Mabel Hosking and Ida Mitchell. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 2:00 PM at St. Michael’s and All Angels Church, St. David’s with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Michael & All Angels Memorial Fund.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
