LESONSKY, Nikolas “Nik”
It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Nikolas, our beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and Friend, on April 21, 2021 at the young age of 22. Cherished and loving son to Sandy and Jeff Lesonsky. Best friend and brother to Tosha Lesonsky. Beloved grandson and “Prince” to Teta and Jiddo, Marie and Joe Sleiman, and to Gramma and Papa, late David Lesonsky and surviving wife Elaine, and Grandma Gloria Lesonsky. Adored nephew to Matt (Debbie), Tammy (Chuck), Paul (Tina) and Pierre (Kalda). Nikolas will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his cousins Jakob (Natalie), Krista, Aaron, Allison, Serena, Joey, Amelia, Michael, Max, Christopher, and Lexi and many others, as well as many dear friends. He was a young man who always wore his heart on his sleeve and tried to do his best in whatever he was doing. Nik loved the outdoors, in particular hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and playing with his dog, Xena. He was currently enrolled at the University of Windsor where he was pursuing his bachelor of science. Nikolas, you were always a pain in our ass, but we loved you for it. We can’t wait to hear your laugh and see your smile again one day. We love you. A private visitation and funeral service will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave (519) 253.7234, on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Everyone who was touched by Nikolas is invited to join the family in the funeral procession at the funeral home at 2:30pm then to Windsor Crematorium for cremation to follow. PLEASE NOTE: Those joining the procession must remain in their vehicles at the funeral home and Crematorium due to current Covid-19 restrictions. Death notice for the town of: Windsor, Province: Ontario
When we were in the seventh grade, a group of girls rated the boys in our class and 3 guys got 10s, Nik was one of them. The other two were elated and celebrated but Nik went up to the girls and instead told them off for putting so many other guys down. If that doesn’t show what kind of guy he was, I don’t know what will. Miss you, buddy.
I didn’t know Nick very well but from what I could tell from far away was that he was a very outgoing and nice person. I met him a couple of times at the gym and he waved at me which was very nice.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family…
