Chuck was the beloved and devoted husband of 65 years to the late Mary Isabel Wilson (nee Doull). Born in Perth, Ontario, Chuck married his high school sweetheart, Mary, in 1952. Chuck joined the military in 1948 and he proudly served his country with distinction for 37 years. A veteran of the Korean War, he travelled the world with the United Nations Peacekeeping Forces to such places as Germany, Cyprus, Israel, and Syria. Chuck retired in 1985 from Canadian Forces Base Trenton and moved to Grand Bend for a brief period before settling in London, Ontario. In 2014, Chuck and Mary moved to Summerland, BC to be closer to family. Chuck was a pilot, accomplished violin player, electrician, gardener, and “overall fixer of anything”. Throughout his long life, his commitment to Flag and Country was evident in all that he did.
