NEUWIRTH William February 1 1936 — November 13 2021

NEUWIRTH, William
February 1, 1936 — November 13, 2021
William passed away peacefully on November 13, 2021, at the age of 85, in Kelowna, BC. He was born in Porrog, Hungary on February 1, 1936. He came to Canada in 1958, where he worked in Alberta in the Oil industry as a draftsman. Approximately 25 years ago he moved to Kelowna with his wife, Katalin.
William was known for having a good sense of humour. He loved politics and debating politics. He was always right, and it was everyone else who was wrong, of course. He was a soccer player (and good too!). He loved to travel, Palm Springs and Vegas were his favourites.
William is survived by his best friend Les Gulyas; his older brother; and his older and younger sisters. He was predeceased by his wife of more than 25 years, Katalin who passed in 2019; as well as his dad Lajos and mom Maria Neuwirth.
