Nester Volodimir Tunkow January 27 1938 June 25 2021

Nester passed away at Broadmead Care Center after having a stroke on June 25, 2021. He was raised in Armstrong B.C. coming to Victoria from Vancouver in 1970, as a Carpentry Instructor at Camosun College where he taught for 30 years. Retiring in 2000. He was predeceased by his sister Frances and brother Marjan.
Survived by his loving wife of 58 years Sharon, sons Stephen (Janice) and Brian (Tara), 5 grandchildren, Brock, Garrett, Bailee, Riley, and Zoe, his sister Ksenia, Uncle Steve, and several nephews and cousins. He will be missed by family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Nesters 3953 Cumberland Rd. on July 24th,2021 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Alzheimer’s alzfdn.org/support-us/donate or Heart and Stroke Foundation secure-support.heartandstroke.ca/
