Sadly, after a courageous and dignified battle with Parkinson’s, Nessie passed in the early hours of Monday, September 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Seymour (Sidney). Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Edith and Norman Gordon, Bina and Michael Murawnik. Adored grandmother of David and Robin Gordon, Hal and Trish and Abbey Murawnik. Proud great-grandmother to Jacob and Rebecca. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Marsha and the late Simon Kammer; predeceased by her other siblings and their spouses, Bernard and Minnie Cohen, Sarah and Jack Gorelick, Freda and Morris Geller, Paula and Sam Rothman, Yetta Cleversey, Joey and Elsa Cohen, and Sylvia Cohen. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Nessie was a long-time member and volunteer of Na’amat, a homemaker, a hairdresser, and an outstanding woman. She knit mittens and scarves for Mountain of Mittens project. A truly special woman
