Neil Joseph’s Obituary
DUGAS, Neil Joseph – Age 85 formerly of Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Tideview Terrace, Digby. He was a son of the late Pierre and Lucie (Gaudet) Dugas.
Neil worked for both Adolphe Belliveau and Crown Upholstery as an upholsterer. He then purchased a pork farm in St. Bernard which he operated until his retirement in the late 80’s. In those days, he was well-known for preparing BBQ pork at various events. He finally enjoyed logging for the remainder of his active years.
He is survived by his children, Paul and Jeanne Dugas, both of Ohio; Jean-Guy (Jacob), Lunenburg; grandson, Christian Colwell.
He was predeceased by his wife, Cecile; sisters, Rosella and Eva.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at a late date.
Donations in Neil’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
