Obituary of Nancy Elaine Lamb
It is with great sadness that friends and neighbours of Nancy Elaine Louise Lamb announce her passing which occurred on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her home in Kingston, NB. Born in Kingston, NB, on November 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Chipman and Mary (Mullett) Lamb.
Nancy was known for her kindness, her welcoming kitchen (which was always open for a coffee and treats), her wisdom and her great listening ear. Nancy farmed, fished, gardened, sold her farm fresh eggs as well as nurtured many a soul who passed by. She drove van for 13 years, taking students to and from the Gondola Point ferry to their buses on the other side.
Nancy is survived by her only remaining family member, Bill Nutter of Alberta; as well as many neighbours & friends. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her brothers Austin & George Lamb; and sister Mavis Nutter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A celebration of Nancy’s life will take place on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Andrew’s United Kirk Church Cemetery, Hammond River.
Donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Animal Rescue League, Hampton Food Basket or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through ReidsFH.com
