Nadine Pearl Gavel
1932-2021
Nadine P. Gavel of Nackawic, NB passed away on December 27, 2021 at
Upper River Valley Hospital. Nadine was born on May 10, 1932 at Green
Mountain, NB, a daughter of the late Charles and M. Elizabeth (Arbo)
Fish.
She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Gavel; her children Charlene
Finnegan (Mike), Fredericton, NB and Sheldon Gavel (Pam), Meductic,
NB; grandchildren Craig Gavel (Brenda), Krista Carr (Ryan), Scott
Gavel (Marjorie), Kari Kennedy (Chris), Sherry McKinney (William),
Joshua Gavel (Sarah), Mathias Finnegan and Zane Finnegan (Brittany);
great grandchildren Ashlyn, Branden, Robyn, Payton, Dylan, Kaedence,
Andrew, Ella, Jack and Nathan; three great great granddaughters
Alexis, Cassie and Madison; a daughter-in-law Sharon Craig, Woodstock,
NB; a sister Carlene Wood, Sus, NB; a brother-in-law, Gerald Gavel
(Maxine), Woodstock, NB; special niece and nephew Lorraine and Andrew
and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son Dale Gavel; a
great granddaughter Kherrington Gavel; a great great grandson Damian
McKinley; her brothers John, Arthur, Charles and her sisters Lydia,
Ethel, Helen, Phyllis, Kathleen, Lois and Myrna.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 12 noon until 2
pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel
with Pastor Rick McFadyen officiating. Due to government COVID
regulations, masks, proof of double vaccination and government issued
ID are required. Interment will be later at Otis Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be nephews Andrew Fish, Clayton Veysey, Dwayne Boone,
Ronnie Fish, Randy Farrell and Kenny Wood.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Nadine, the family
has suggested the Otis Cemetery.
