Naaman’s Obituary
VEINOTTE, Naaman Richard ~ Age 83, of Factorydale, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, with his daughter by his side. Born on March 12, 1937, in East Dalhousie, he was a son of the late Emerson and Irene (Hiltz) Veinotte. Naaman was a kind hearted man who enjoyed the outdoors, and could catch a fish in a puddle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving are his sister, Velma (Wayne) McKay; loving and caring daughter, Michele “Shelly” (Mike) Toole, both of Factorydale; sons, Curtis, Greenwood; Richard “Ricky” (Judy), Woodstock, Ont.; Glen (Brittany), Grand Prairie, Alta; grandchildren, Andrew, Eric, Mathew, Shawn, Eli and Cassandra “Cassie” (who lived with him and has been a help and comfort to him for many years; great grandchildren, Layne, Audrey, Abigail and Zale; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Naaman was predeceased by sisters, Joyce Tupper, Pauline Beals and Hazel Tupper; brother, Vincent Veinotte. A service by invitation only will be held in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448, with Pastor Randy Hiltz officiating. For those unable to attend in person, a live webcast of the service will be available for viewing on the funeral home website at 1:55 p.m., AST, Saturday, March 6, by selecting the “Live Stream” option at the top of the home page. Interment will be in Morristown Cemetery, at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Valley Regional Hospital for all of the help and care they gave to Naaman, knowing that he would want them to know how much he appreciated it.
