We sadly announce the passing of Murray Reckzin at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with his loving family by his side on Friday February 12, 2021 at the age of 68 years. Murray Reckzin of Pembroke, beloved husband of Serena Reckzin (nee Gardner). Loved and cherished father of Brandon Reckzin (Amy Hebert), Pembroke and Angela Colebourne (Kevin), Belleville. Devoted Grampa to Ella, Carter and Lucas. Murray is predeceased by his sister Earla Pierce. Survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Murray with his family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday February 16th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS OF THE COVID-19 MANDATES, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT ANY GIVEN TIME – FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND VISITATION AND FUNERAL MASS. Please feel free to bring your own face mask or one will be supplied to you at the Funeral Home. (Please call the funeral home at 613-735-5711 if you wish to attend the visitation. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery.
