It is with sadness that the family of Murray McRae announces his passing on November 23, 2021 at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 87 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son Daniel (Rose), grandchildren Crystal (Ray) and Shawn, great-granddaughter Brianna, and step-grandsons Stuart (Emily) and Alex. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Rhea McRae.
Murray worked for Statistics Canada as Chief Statistician for 35 years. He was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, always wanting to get out for one more ride.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph’s Lifecare, Brantford for their care of Murray during his last months.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00pm at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Vanier.
