Obituary of Murray Arthur Swayze
SWAYZE, MURRAY ARTHUR: September 9, 1919 – February 21, 2021 Passed away peacefully at his residence in Smithville at the age of 101. Loving husband and best friend of Joan (nee Clark), married 74 years. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Eleanor Swayze and brother Earl. Survived by his daughters Carol (Brian) and Jane (the late Russ). He leaves behind grandchildren Scott, Julie, Janelle, Jeff, Sarah and 10 great grandchildren. Murray came from a dairy farming operation in Elfrida, prior to having his own dairy farm in Woodburn. Upon retiring from farming, he worked for Insulators Local 95. In lieu of flowers, donations to McNally House Hospice, Grimsby (www.mcnallyhousehospice.com/how-you-can-help/donations/) would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville. Private interment to follow.
