Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, August 2, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Muriel Margaret Harrison passed away at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late William Harrison. Loving mother of Dennis (Margo) Harrison and William “Bill” (Donna) Harrison. Cherished grandmother of Sean (Kristi) Harrison, Tracy (Murray) Pound, Tania (Ben) Bergen, Ginger Harrison and Carla-Ann (Brent) Anderson. Treasured great-grandmother of Gatlin, Brechin, Sydney, Sadie, Reese, Brooke and Danni. Dear sister of the late Jack (Marion) Shea, the late Don (survived by Bernadette) Shea and the late Lloyd (survived by Marie) Shea, and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant daughter Susan Harrison and son John Wayne Harrison. Muriel was a longtime member of Paterson Memorial Church. She was an avid bridge player for many years. Muriel had many special friendships from the Cobden Street “Gang,” from working at Dr. Kohlmeier and Dr. Smithen’s office for thirty years, and she made more friendships when living at the Sandpiper and Landmark Village. A special thank you to Landmark Village Staff, and especially to Robin Disper for her ongoing care and compassion. Muriel was admired by everyone she met and made you feel most important in her presence. We will miss her dearly. Cremation has taken place.
