Morreen MacLeod Tuesday May 18th 2021

MacLeod, Morreen Elaine (nee Allan) – born September 23, 1948 in New Westminster; passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021 after a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia. Beloved mother, grandmother, friend and curler, she will be incredibly missed by her husband Bruce, daughters Alison (Arbuthnot) and Erin, son-in-law Blair and grandsons Cooper and Sawyer.
Mo grew up in North Vancouver where she discovered her lifetime passion for curling. Over her 58 year curling career, “Mighty Mo” was known for both her sense of humour and her competitive streak. She was well loved in the curling community, developing many lifelong friendships. Mo skipped the provincial winning team as a Senior in 2001 and 2002, taking her and her team to national championships in Alberta and Ontario.
The family gratefully declines flowers, requesting instead donations in Mo’s name to the Curling for Life Endowment Fund.
