Monique M. Arsenault, 64, of
Moncton passed away peacefully within the comforts of her home on
Saturday, July 10, 2021. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the
late Harvey and Doris (LeBlanc) Arsenault. Monique was employed with
the Federal Government, having served positions with National Defence
(CFB Moncton) and Employment & Social Development and was also
employed with First Canadian Title for several years. She met the love
of her life, Paul, when they were both working at National Defence.
Monique had a great talent for art, especially sketching and painting.
She thought the world of her nieces and nephews and was always there
to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Monique would often talk of her
childhood days, sharing funny stories of growing up on Maple St. or
the many summers spent with her cousins at the cottage in
Shediac.
Monique will be sadly missed by
her brother, Marc Arsenault (Kelly) of Moncton; brother-in-law, Roger
Melanson; nieces, Tanya Carter, Amy Melanson-LeBlanc (Dave) and
Madison Burns; nephews, James Carter (Nicole), Taylor, Max and Alex
Arsenault; great nieces, Alayna, Aleah and Ellie. In addition to her
parents, Monique was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Williams;
sisters, Carmella Melanson and Muriel
Carter.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral
Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 2:00 to
4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Service to Celebrate and Honour
Monique’s Life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:30 am. Interment to be held in
Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
