À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 8 mars 2021, à l’âge de 98 ans et 2 mois, est décédée Mme Monica Bourgeois, domiciliée à Edmundston, épouse de feu M. J Herman Martin, fille de feu M. Lemuel Bourgeois et de feu Mme Edith McKillian.
Elle laisse dans la peine mais également avec de merveilleux souvenirs, ses enfants: Linda (Jerry) de Rogersville NB, Geraldine de St-Antoine NB, Michael (Greta) d’Edmundston NB, John (Monik) d’Edmundston NB, Veronica de Brossard QC, Patrick (Brenda) de Storrs CT, Peter (Micheline) de Brossard QC, Thaddee “Ted“ (Lucynda) d’Edmundston NB, Theresa “Tess“ (Renaud) d’Edmundston NB ainsi que 27 petits-enfants, 31 arrière-petits-enfants et 3 arrière-arrière-petites-enfants. Elle repose maintenant auprès de son époux, ses parents, son fils Thomas “Tom“ et sa fille Deborah “Debbie“.
Ses funérailles auront lieu en la Cathédrale de l’Immaculée-Conception avec l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial. Étant donné les restrictions établies par le Ministère de la Santé, les invités seront convoqués par la famille.
Mme Martin était membre de l’Orchestre Richelieu et membre de la chorale anglaise de la Cathédrale de l’Immaculée-Conception.
La famille remercie sincèrement les médecins et le personnel de l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le personnel du service de l’aide à la famille et l’équipe du programme extra-mural pour les excellents soins qu’elle a reçus.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, March 8, 2021, Mrs. Monica Bourgeois of Edmundston passed away at the age of 98 years and 2 months. She was the wife of the late Mr. J Herman Martin, daughter of the late Mr. Lemuel Bourgeois and the late Mrs. Edith Mc Killian,
She is survived by her children: Linda Martin (Jerry) from Rogersville NB, Geraldine from St-Antoine NB, Michael (Greta) from Edmundston NB, John (Monik) from Edmundston NB, Veronica from Brossard QC, Patrick (Brenda) from Storrs CT, Peter (Micheline) from Brossard QC, Thaddee “Ted“ (Lucynda) from Edmundston NB and Theresa “Tess“ (Renaud) from Edmundston NB, 27 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- granchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, her son Thomas “Tom“ and her daughter Deborah “Debbie“
Her funeral service will be held in the Immaculate-Conception Cathedral with interment in the parish cemetery. Given the restrictions established by the Ministry of Health, the guests will be summoned by the family.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Richelieu Orchestra and a member of the Immaculate-Conception Cathedral english choir.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the Edmunston Regional Hospital, the staff of the Extra- Mural program and of de Family aid services for the excellent care provided.
